About PrepOasis

PrepOasis is an online practice platform for students preparing for competitive and board exams. Our motto is “Craft your Future Rank”: steady, well-guided practice is what turns an average score into a merit position.

Why we built it

In Pakistan almost every important exam — medical and engineering entry tests, public service commission tests, NTS and SIBA recruitment tests, ISSB, and the objective part of board papers — is decided by multiple-choice questions. Students who can afford academies get thousands of practice questions and a teacher who explains their mistakes. Many others only have a guidebook with an answer key and no explanation.

PrepOasis exists to close that gap. Anyone with a phone can practise topic-wise MCQs, see why an answer is right, and measure their progress — free of charge.

Who runs PrepOasis

PrepOasis is founded and run by Prof. Kamran Soomro from Pakistan. Teachers who join the platform write and review questions, courses and notes for their own subjects, and each teacher has a public profile so students know who prepared the material.

How questions are written and checked

Questions are organised by subject, class, chapter and subtopic so they can be practised in exactly the order a syllabus is taught. Teachers add an explanation that shows the reasoning — the formula used, the concept being tested, or why each wrong option is wrong.

Every question has a Report button and a discussion thread. When a student spots a mistake or a better method, a teacher reviews it and corrects the question for everyone. Duplicate questions are merged so the bank stays clean.

What you can do here

Students can practise MCQs by topic, follow free courses, read revision notes with short and long questions, take timed mock tests and test series, ask questions in the discussions, and read career guidance on admissions, scholarships and jobs.

Teachers can build and print tests, assign them to classes, and track every student. Parents can link to their child's account to follow progress.

Free and Premium

Practice, courses marked free, notes, discussions and career guidance are free. A free account saves your progress, ranks and medals. Optional Premium plans unlock extra mock tests, more downloads and an ad-free experience; the money keeps PrepOasis running and growing.
