Career guidance

Choosing a field after Matric or FSc is one of the biggest decisions a student makes. These guides explain the options in plain language.

What the guides cover

Each guide explains a field — medicine, engineering, computer science, the armed forces, the civil service, business, education and more — what you study, which entry tests you need, which universities offer it, what the jobs look like and how to prepare. Guides are written by teachers and updated as policies change.
