About TOEFL iBT
The TOEFL iBT from ETS is an English test accepted by universities in the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia and many other countries. It tests Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing in academic settings and is taken on a computer, at a test centre or at home.
ETS has updated the test format and score reporting in recent years, so check the official TOEFL website for the current section lengths, task types and score scale before you begin preparing.
How to prepare
Read academic texts in English every day and summarise them in your own words. Listen to lectures and take short notes. Practise speaking answers to a timer, and write short responses to academic discussion prompts. Grammar and vocabulary practice supports all four skills.
